This facility lacks communication skills both within staff and outside caregivers. My friend was admitted for rehab. The only time he was allowed out of bed or out of a chair was when he was at rehab, other than that he was confined to his room for his full 30+ days. The lack of attention he received for personal care was unacceptable which resulted in further complications. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired as well. I was not pleased with their response times, or lack of, when trying to contact any member of their staff.

The change from cable to dish television has been a disaster. Local channels are unwatchable and many digital choices are not of interest. There are multiple channels on cars. Come on. I am a visitor. Taking advantage of older adults that are not tech savvy and can’t speak up knowledgeably is almost criminal. Old people need their tv to be WATCHABLE.

I am aware of NO noise restrictions being enforced here....especially at nighttime (sleeping hours) I am told that residents have the RIGHT to do anything he/she wants if he/she is still awake...it would seem they should follow Middletown restrictions? For this reason I find life here to have little value.

Horrible. Never enough staff. Residents who need assistance with toilet ing are left sitting in wet or soiled underwear for hours. Management doesn\'t care. It\'s all about the money. Good staff are over worships bad staff stand around on their phones. If you truly love someone don\'t put them in this awful facility.

My grandfather moved into Arden Courts of Susquehanna for Alzheimer's care. So far, we've had no issues. They're very pleasant to deal with. Due to COVID, we haven't been able to get into the facility itself, but they're very kind and caring people. They seem to be taking care of all his needs very well so far. They just have opened up to in-person visitation in their lobby, but it's very limited, and they have it very time constrained. They need to get everybody in, and with all the COVID protocols, it takes a while. The rooms are relatively small, but they're single person rooms. There's a room for TV and dressers, so there's plenty of room for one person. They have ten hours a day of activities that they have planned, so there's something going on pretty much from the time they get up to the time they go to bed if they choose to participate. They try to get him to participate as much as possible. They don't want them sitting in their rooms by themselves all day. I have no complaints at all. They seem to be very pleasant to deal with, and they seem to be taking his needs seriously.
