I visited this facility
Brookdale was very good, I really enjoyed it, and thats one of the places were considering. Its clean, light, they have a lot of activities that the people could do, the staff was fantastic, it had everything one would need. They have shuttle services that come every day to take them to places they wanted to go, they take them to the primary physician, and if they cant get out, they had doctors come in. They have something going on every day.

I visited this facility
We visited Brookdale. We met with the staff, but the location didn't have the facility that would be helpful for my father. However, we really liked it, it was very nice, and it looked like a very nice place. We saw the dining room and the exercise place. The staff was very helpful and took down notes.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother-in-law moved in to Brookdale Harrisburg. It's a little bit aged, but they're planning to renovate. It's a clean and fine facility. The staff has been adequate and good. The dining area is nice. She's doing some things with other people, but she does not participate in a lot of things because she has macular degeneration and she cannot see. She does some of the games and some of the group participation things, but that's about it.

I visited this facility
Brookdale Harrisburg was very clean. It was a nice and fancy place. Everything was very nice. When I walked in, there were fancy chandeliers. They also have a fancy dining room. However, it was too much like a showroom, and that's not what I'm looking for. Also, I think you have to share rooms, but my mom was not set to share a room with somebody. I did not care for the place at all. I didn't think they were there to care for the people, and that's my opinion.
