Sterling Heights Gracious Retirement Living's rooms were very nice. The person we met there seemed very nice. The dining area was very clean. They also had a library and they had activities. The place was very well-lit.

I would give the tour guide from Sterling Heights a 1. He could have been the greeter at Wal-Mart; he could have done better. However, the place was very new, and the rooms were very nice. They have a lobby with a game room, a movie room, and an exercise room. Actually, Sterling Heights was the one that had a nice coffee shop area like a small gathering room with some beverages and snack. It was in their regular dining room but it was open all the time, which was nice. They also had transportation within a certain range.

I was very impressed with Sterling Heights Gracious Retirement Living. It was very nice. My concern was the cost for the additional care that my mom may need, but the facility, the presentation, and the general vibe of the place was really good. It's one of the places I really would've considered for her.

Sterling Heights Gracious Retirement Living was very nice inside. We had an opportunity to eat there and the food was fine. However, I didn't like that they have a schedule for eating. That's too structured for me. They have a craft area, a TV/movie room, a library, and a sewing area. They have enough activities to involve people. The food was good, just not the portions that I am accustomed to.

Traditions of Hanover was very nice. It just felt like living in a hotel and I wasn't quite ready for that. The staff was very nice, very informative, and friendly. They were doing exercises when we came in. There were quite a few people there with the lady that was running the program.

Traditions of Hanover was very nice. Of all the facilities we have seen, it was the most likely option. The person who assisted us was very nice. In fact, all the people there were very nice. Many of the residents came and spoke to us. We were very impressed with the people there. We had lunch and it was very good. They have outings for the residents where they go to different places. They have social personnel that also conduct activities right on the property.

Tradtions of Hanover was a nice place, but it didn't fit with what we need. The staff and the grounds were nice, but I've seen better locations. The price was a bit high. It would probably be the right fit for somebody.
