I visited Pioneer Village, and it seemed to be a nice place. They were pretty full at that time, they did not have much to show, and it was a quick walk through. The rooms looked nice. You can order food off a menu, so that was a pretty good deal.

The person that greeted us at Pioneer Village was nice, but they were not prepared for our visit (even though we registered online). When we were in the waiting area, there were a lot of residents in the front area and they looked like they did not have anything to do. The room that I saw was OK and clean, but it was older. The whole atmosphere of the assisted living area was more institutional. Some residents were picking around an ice cream cart which they seemed to enjoy.
