By creating a familiar environment, Pacific View Memory Care encourages everyone to participate in the activities of our community; which may include visiting with children from a neighborhood school, creative arts, or reminiscing about a favorite vacation.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
Pacific View Assisted Living was understaffed, and the staff was underpaid. They would hire people right out of high school with no training at the minimum wage. They would train them for a day and a half, make them watch some videos, and then someone would take them around to introduce them to the residents. Most of them were not dedicated to the job, so turnover was huge. They had one staff member for 30 residents and another person to administer all the medicines during night time. The food was mediocre. They served a lot of pasta and rice, and very little meat and vegetables. The public areas were nice because they were newly renovated. The rooms had two residents, and the furniture was right out of World War II. The bathrooms were not equipped with grab bars. Some of the rooms had bathrooms inside and some of them had to go outside down the hall to use the bathroom. The lighting in the rooms was horrible. Sometimes, the caregivers had to bring in flashlights to see if somebody had a rash, for example.
