Situated on the banks of the Willamette River, Albany is the manufacturing and transportation hub of the Willamette Valley.

Transit links to surrounding cities, including Portland, makes living in Albany an easy choice. The Call-A-Ride program is available to senior citizens who are unable to use the city bus services. For a small fee, the program provides door-to-door service for seniors in a community of assisted living in Albany.
