Here at Barrington Court of West Chester, our location is open and green. Our four-story complex rests between Voice Of America Park and Four-Bridges Golf Course, giving all of our apartments great views while still being close to area amenities and services.

Barrington Court of West Chester is one of many retirement apartments owned by the Senior Lifestyle Corporation. In addition to our open location, we have a professionally landscaped campus. We also have a beauty and barber shop and a sundry store, and for entertainment, our community has a recreation room with a regulation pool table, a movie theater and a fully equipped fitness center. All of our residents enjoy daily chef-prepared dinners, and our dining room opens to anoutdoor dining area, allowing residents and their guests alfresco dining. We also have a private dining room for parties.

At Barrington of West Chester, we offer a selection of one- and two-bedroom floor plans, and all apartments have a washer and dryer and a Elcombe Security Link System. Most apartments also have a balcony or patio. When you want to socialize with friends, our common areas are well-appointed and plentiful.

Available Services

Our community is designed for the active, independent senior, but we also offer outpatient rehabilitation and the option of extra cooked meals and even room service when needed. In addition to maintenance and housekeeping, we offer assistance with laundry when needed and health education programs.

Assisted living residents can receive extra help as needed, including assistance with bathing and medication management. All assisted living residents are checked on regularly and have access to an on-site care coordinator. As an added convenience, we offer handicap accessible transportation to all appointments and errands.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

When my mother said that it was time to move from her home of 47 years and relocate closer to my family, I jumped at the chance to show her The Barrington of West Chester. She fell in love with it - and we couldn't say enough nice things about her experience there. The staff really cares about the residents - and they work very hard to make sure that everyone who lives there is comfortable and has a good time. My mother's move to The Barrington was a great move for all of us.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident

My father was a resident (both independent and assisted living) for three years. I live 800 miles away, and I needed a facility that could provide a safe environment and a high quality of life. My father's cognition was excellent, and he needed to be in a community that provided social stimulus. Barrington of West Chester is tht type of facility. It has a full menu of services, and when my father had to go on "assisted living," the nursing staff provided excellent care and communicated with me. Additionally, the housekeeping staff acted as a second set of eyes an ears and were very friendly and communicated with me during my personal visits. I credit all the staff at Barrington for providing an atmosphere where the residents are an encouragement and help to each other. A very important asset for a senior living complex.
