The intimate, single-story building of Brookdale Northwest Greensboro was designed to provide comfort, beauty, and privacy. Our private living spaces are bright and cheery, and residents choose from a selection of private or companion suite/studio floors plans. Each room includes basic cable, private or shared bath, and many safety features including step-in shower, safety bars, and non-slip surfaces, wall-to-wall carpeting, and handicap accessibility.
The living areas throughout our community are comfortable and offer opportunities for socializing or enjoying a packed calendar of activities. As an assisted living community, we partner with each resident to design a personal service plan, reviewing plans regularly to ensure we meet the changing needs of residents. I visited this facility
Brookdale Northwest Greensboro was very small and very crowded. The patients were in wheelchairs in the front and some were very demented. My patient is ambulatory, and I don't think she would get the stimulation she needed. The place and the rooms were very old. I was not impressed with it. They had little dining rooms. They said they had activities and also said that they needed to know how many insulin shots you needed because that would bring up the cost. I didn't see any amenities except the recreation room. The person who showed me around was very nice.
