Sage Harbor at Baywinde

My parents moved into Sage Harbour at Baywinde. It's a smaller community, and they made the transition easily from independent to assisted living. They have so many different activities so they keep them active. They offer three meals a day. They offer medication disbursement, ADLs, they check them when they come in and see how much help they need, and they provide transportation to places. So far, they've been on top of everything. They keep the place very clean and they're updating it, so it looks good. My parents think the meals are good and they like the 1-bedroom apartment they're in.

Sage Harbour at Baywinde was very elegant. We looked around the grounds and everything looked well maintained. I liked the idea that it had different steps for different levels of retirement living. The person during the tour was very pleasant and very helpful. The dining area looked like a restaurant. They had continental breakfast, maintenance and upkeep, laundry facility, a maid service, and housecleaning once a week. In the future, when we get to that point when we need more help, Sage Harbour would probably be the one we would go with. It was an amazing facility and The Y is right across it. It looked more like a community.
