Brookdale Emerson was a very nice place. The people were very nice and inviting when you come and look around. The place is very homey, clean, and inviting. The dining area was very clean. They have a music appreciation day going on when I was there. They had their own beauty shop, people who come in and sing, and they play instruments. The staff was very accommodating.

Brookdale Emerson is clean and well-maintained. The staff has all been very courteous to me as well as to my loved one who's there. They care and it's a very good facility. It really stood out because of the cleanliness of the facilities and the rooms. The restaurant is well-organized and looked clean. It was well-maintained and they took great care. They have a hostess to make sure they're seated properly. They have plenty of activities on multiple floors. I liked that the second floor really has kind of a home style feel to it. My loved one has not taken advantage of all these activities, but I like the availability of it. The meal I had there was excellent, very good, and portioned properly. The feedback I got from my loved one is that the food is very good.

I visited Brookdale Emerson. It's close to where we live in Westwood, New Jersey. The people were very friendly and made me feel welcome. It was very clean. The staff was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very friendly. They go to museums or to the store, have barbecues and Bible study, watch movies, and have a library and a lot of things for the people living there. They have a van to take them to the doctors. They also have doctors who come in to visit if need be. I'm close enough where I could always pick up my mother and take her to a doctor if need be. They have housekeeping, a barber shop, beauty salon, post offices, and everything that you would need. They do laundry service and have washing machines and dryers if you want to do it yourself. They have studios and one-bedrooms. The one that I saw looked very nice, very modern, bright, and very clean. The bathroom was nice and had a nice shower and a sitting area in the shower. They had a nice little dinette kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave if you want popcorn and water or sodas or juice. You have cable TV. They have an exercise room. Everything looked good. I was impressed.
