Green Hill's roots date to the end of the Civil War when the Society for the Relief of Respectable Aged Woman opened a residence in Newark, New Jersey. Our current location was purchased in 1965, and while so much in the world has changed, the need for thoughtful personal care for seniors has only grown.

Our apartments feature all the comforts of home, which also include your furry, four-legged friend. Our spacious one-and two-bedroom, senior-friendly apartments are available in several layouts. Every apartment includes a kitchenette and elegant finishing touches that just need a few personalized treasures to make it feel like home. All utilities, including local phone service, are part of the monthly fee. Parking is available at no extra cost.

Our community also has an on-site beauty salon and a corner store, which saves you a trip into town. And keeping in touch with family and friends is easy with our our free WiFi and computer access in our activity center and library.

With the full continuum of care found at Green Hill, you can take comfort knowing you will be cared for wherever in life you are. We offer assisted living services which include help with daily living tasks and medication reminders. Skilled nursing care is also available at our newest addition, THE GREEN HOUSE^® Homes. Our “Care for Life” program also ensures that our residents will always receive the care they need even if they run out of funds.
