Breathtaking grounds, a wealth of services and upscale surroundings are just a few of the reasons why Copperfield Hills is a sought-after retirement community in Robbinsdale. Our community has such a wide range of amenities and services, we are like a small town and once you visit, you will easily picture yourself settling down here.
Copperfield Hill is a family-owned and operated senior living community. Since 1986 we have served the seniors in Robbinsdale by providing the answers to their needs, as well as their families. All our staff are selected and trained in the "Copperfield Way" to ensure they enrich our residents' lives.
The small-town feel at Copperfield Hill comes in part from the many convenient amenities we provide on site including a beauty salon/barber shop, library, grocery market and movie room. Our accommodations are available in studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments that feature individually controlled heating and cooling, kitchens, private baths and stunning views of our breathtaking grounds. There is also a companion suite for those who wish to live with a friend.
All meals are chef-prepared and served in our community dining room three times a day. Our independent living residents can select a meal plan for those nights they don't want to cook. Fun and engaging activities are regularly scheduled throughout the week and include movie matinees, outings, musical programs and garden clubs.
When a resident is in need of an extra helping hand, he/she transitions into our assisted living program, which offers assisted living and healthcare services in a dignified manner. Assistance with dressing, grooming, medication management and other daily tasks is available. A comprehensive memory care package is also available.
Residents at Copperfield Hill can choose from a selection of available services to craft the level of assistance they desire. Some of these services are meal plans, heated parking, housekeeping, laundry and on-site podiatry care. My mother has been a resident of Copperfield Hill Senior Living for a couple of weeks now. So far so good. She knows somebody there and socializes during meals with other people. They have quite a few activities as well; I've seen the calendar and they have something pretty much every day. Her room is a good-sized single bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a good-sized living room. The staff is really good in the dining area. My mother is pretty much on her own living there, but she does have somebody come check on her in the morning and in the evening. The staff is pretty good, friendly, and helpful. She's pretty happy with the meals. Sometimes she'll bring leftovers in, and I'll come over and it tastes pretty good. It's a nice community with exercise space, solarium, a billiard room and a library, and a nice dining space. The amenities are nice, including a laundry room just down the hall where you can go when needed. They have music that comes in once in a while, a pastor that comes in, and movies. They also take them out to the store, to church, or to doctors that you can schedule. I think they're pretty active. The cost is pretty reasonable. The apartment is nice and costs around $1,400 when you're independent. Once you get assisted, it goes up another $2,000. There are also extra charges for a la cart things like when you want them to come and check on you. I would say that overall, we're quite pleased with it so far.
We visited Copperfield Hill Assisted Living. The facilities were fine, very well kept up, and very well organized. It looked very outstanding. They had a library, a sunroom, and a little guest room where you can have coffee in the afternoon. They mentioned a lot of things that were available and the different trips the residents take, and all of that seemed very well put together.
I was very impressed with Copperfield Hill. They had different activities available that in the center atrium, so it's more likely that people would go join a group that was already enjoying something. The woman who took me on the tour was incredible and she interacted with my mom and made her feel important. That really stood out. They have tea parties, a puzzle area, exercising, and soft chairs for relaxing and talking.
Copperfield Hill is designed with the atrium to unite the resident's and provide a cheerful, open and social environment. Your observation is the intended desire when the Farr family designed Copperfield Hill. Thank you for sharing your positive experience.
Copperfield Hill is clean and friendly. I like its layout, the size of their apartments, the convenience that it's close to home, and the amenities that they offer. They have activities for the residents and a shuttle that goes to various grocery stores, banks, and drug stores. They have an outing one day a month where people can go out to lunch. I like the flexibility in their meal program too -- you can participate or not participate whenever you want to. I also like the fact that with my mom, who is independent, I can add services as she needs them. They have a laundry room on every floor, and they are free to the residents.
