**Please be aware that the nursing and assistant nursing care staff treated my mother with neglect, lack of dignity, unimportance, and worthlessness the moment that she passed away.** **When my Mother passed care staff was unempathic, and treated my mother like trash. We had to beg care staff to clean my mother up so she could have her dignity before the funeral home came to take her away. My mother was soiled and care staff stated and insisted that they didn\'t need to clean her up because \"They usually just take em out the way they are\".** Mom was a human being and she deserved to be treated with dignity in her final days. It was their responsibility even after she died to treat her with dignity and respect untill the funeral home took her. Moms care cost $11000 monthly this includes cleaning someone up when they are soiled before they go to the funeral home. Shame on you! Buyer beware

I am currently at Brookdale Edina. I like the staff a lot, and they have a lot of activities. I thought they really did a good job during the COVID epidemic in keeping us all safe. Right now, they are taking people on tours of the lakes around Minnesota to get out. They have a van, and they do quite a few things with that. They have lots of classes if you want to take them, like art classes, exercise classes, and all kinds of things. The staff are very friendly, they do what they say they are going to do, and they follow up with people. We've had quite a bit of turnover in the dining services. It is an old building, but it does not look old, and it is clean.

I liked Sunrise of Edina the best. The gal who helped us was wonderful. They had a library and a TV room. It's very clean, well maintained, and very homey. The residents were active and fairly comfortable.

We went to Sunrise of Edina. It was very nice, but they did not have an opening. We were looking for a studio, and the one I saw looked great; that's what we wanted. The staff member was very friendly, they knew the residents by their first names, and it was just lovely inside and out. I'm sure my father would have liked to stay there had they had an opening. There were all kinds of activities going on, and they were listed on a calendar so all the residents could see what was coming up, what time, and where it was going to happen. The dining room was very nice looking. They had a plate made up so that the residents can take a look at what's available before they even go in and sit down. They serve the food restaurant style.

We visited Brookdale Edina. Their outreach to us was exceptional. My husband liked the facility. It was beautiful and built in such a way that it had an indoor park attached to the building with the health center right across the walkway. It offered many amenities. The people had access to an outdoor space 365 days a year. They had a wonderful program offering memory classes for people who had dementia or memory loss. They were very focused on their clients and residents.

Sunrise of Edina was very nice, and everything you needed was included in the price. It would be a great place for somebody who needs a lot of extra care. The apartment was a little bit on the smaller side, but everything else was very nice.

The interaction that I had with the staff in Sunrise of Edina was very good. The amenities were nice and clean and they all seemed to be having fun and enjoyed the camaraderie. Some of the rooms were more spacious than the others, but I really liked the ones with two rooms that were separate but joined together with a mini hallway. It has a bathroom they can share before going into the full community, so there's more privacy.

Sunrise is designed like a big home, with intentionally smaller rooms, and it has a homey feel to it. Their objective is to get you out of your room and engaged. It was nice, and the people seemed very personable. The price was definitely very reasonable.

I liked everything about Sunrise of Edina, except it was not something I was looking for. I'm looking for apartments, more like independent living, and the main door is secure, meaning residents can't leave the building whenever they want to. It's clean, and the rooms were so neat and organized. I even saw the residents with their nurses helping them and they were treating them well. I saw the community room and the residents were sitting together and were having a good time.
