Description of The Harbors
Friendly, Minnesota, is part of the Twin Cities Metro area, a small suburb considered part of the "inner ring" south of Minneapolis. Within this small suburb with less than 30,000 residents, lies Watermark Senior Living, a large senior community with lush green landscaping nestled in a residential neighborhood. Friendly itself has plenty to offer retirees, including proximity to Hennepin General Hospital, for emergencies or specialist medical care.
Watermark is a memory care facility, which offers private apartments or companion suites equipped with call buttons. Professional caretakers are on hand around the clock for assistance and redirection, and there is a skilled nurse on staff. Meals are included with resident fees, and on-site beautician services are available to pamper residents and help with grooming. Social activities both on the campus and off-site, including devotional services, are also offered.
Transportation to medical appointments and shopping excursions is provided. At the memory care center, there are indoor and outdoor common areas inviting seniors to gather and socialize, all of which are monitored and secured. The minimum age for residents is 55 and no pets are allowed.
