Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington is adequate. My father-in-law is happy where he's at. It's clean and the people seem nice. I'm impressed with the staff.

Employees were found interacting with various residents throughout the facility. Program offers an activities director who manages the residents' activities on a scheduled calendar. Facility is well maintained and has a housekeeping staff. Chef prepares the residents various meals throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, asking residents for feedback and input. Facility has spacious landscape with a walking path by the creek. There is a steep ramp in front of the facility making it extremely difficult for residents with mobility issues to navigate through their way. Residence offers spacious rooms with a fully furnished kitchnette with the option of a washer and dryer.

Beautiful facility with state-of-the-art landscape and beautiful infrastructure. Residents are monitored using call lights which notifies staff when residents have a specific need. Dinner is served in a dinner hall with specific meal times. Staff members adhere to each resident's dietary needs. Food is not very appealing, however, healthy snacks were served. Facility offers residents a variety of care level options in its assisted living unit. Staff members appeared aloof and uninviting.

This facility offers the best option for customized care. I observed staff members throughout the residence getting their hands dirty with residents. Residents were fully immersed in their daily activities with staff right by their side. Program offers Adult Day Club with many social activities, along with lifelong learning programs, and aromatherapy sessions. Staff members seemed to enjoy the atmosphere as much as residents. The facility houses various apartments in the building.

Residence is a sight to behold, and something you would be proud showing to your loved ones. Facility is set up in a way that is sure to 'wow' even the unimpressionable. This facility includes quality, top-level care for all functioning levels, highly updated exterior and interior furnishings, multiple levels of services for variety of resident care plans and needs. From top-down the facility meets the high standards and heavy expectations of even the most detailed scrutiny. First, the exterior of the building sets a great first impression because it resembles a resort. The exterior includes a courtyard with well maintained lawns. Then, the inside is a combination of a palace, a castle, a large mall, and a resort. Very well maintained, spacious, and detailed oriented interior setting, which includes the General Store, pool room with pool table, game room, a huge chapel, a wellness center with a swimming pool, a theatre room, private and public dinning. Now, that's something to think about... The services provided include onsite physical, occupational, and recreational therapy. Sure way to get your family to come out for a vacation multiple times throughout the year because there is something for them to do too, or snap a few selfies to show off to their friends. If you can afford it, go for it.
