My family was advised by our Dr that my father needed to be in a memory care facility for his safety and my mothers due to his increasing dementia. We had a short time to pick a facility. We by the Grace of God called The Pines of Goodrich and spoke with Ruby who is the director. We had a tour and knew it was a good fit. It’s only been a few days but I can say we could not have picked a better place to help us through this difficult time. Ruby is amazing as is the entire staff! We go to sleep at night knowing they truly care about my dad.

Putting a spouse into assisted living is hard to do, but when you have a place like the PINES of Goodrich taking care of them it is so much easier. I have had my spouse in here for four months, and couldn\'t ask for a more caring involved staff, with excellent care. They are friendly, helpful and very informative.

Genesee Gardens was fine. They serve you lunch or dinner as you sit down like in a restaurant. It's not cafeteria style, and they have a chef. They have a separate room for private family get-togethers and special occasions. They had a library, exercise room, computers, and activities. I liked it, and I'm considering it. I liked the rooms. They showed me the studio and the single room apartment. The staff during the tour was very good. I talked to several of the residents, and they seemed nice.

Genesee Gardens seemed very bright, friendly and clean. There's a library, a fitness room, and a huge calendar of all different kinds of activities. The lady who conducted the tour and gave us the information was superb. She was very helpful, answered all of our questions, very friendly, and accommodating.
