The Gables at Winchester

Nestled amongst 14 wooded acres just a short drive from Boston and Cambridge, The Gables at Winchester retirement community has been providing independent and assisted living accommodations and services to Massachusetts seniors for more than 15 years. We are currently in the process of renovating our community to make sure it meets the needs of today's active retiree including the addition of a new movie theater, entrance and activity room.

The Gables at Winchester is managed by Five Star Senior Living. Five Star is a healthcare and senior living services provider that operates independent and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, institutional pharmacies and outpatient health rehabilitation clinics throughout 30 states.

Featured Amenities

We offer a selection of lovely studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, which feature private bathrooms, full kitchens and an emergency call system for added safety and security. All utilities, except for phone, are included in the monthly rent and cable TV service is available for an additional fee. Small pets are also welcome to join their owners at our pet-friendly community.

Residents at The Gables at Winchester enjoy restaurant-style dining with a wide range of menu options. Meals are served three times a day and our chefs regularly adjust the menu to incorporate resident requests, seasonal dishes and signature dishes. Snacks and more casual fare are also available throughout the day in our charming Bistro.

Available Services

For the comfort and convenience of our residents, we provide a number of hospitality services such as housekeeping, scheduled transportation, exercise programs, group outings, meetings with staff when desired, scheduled nursing visits and spiritual activities.

In addition, we provide 24-hour assisted living services to seniors in need of assistance with life's daily activities. Our professional caregiving staff are available to help with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorting and managing medications. We have licensed nurses on staff who regularly conduct monthly visits to ensure the health and well-being of all our residents
