A charming home for active seniors located in Elkton Maryland is Abbey Manor Assisted Living. The community has an inviting atmosphere with stunning interior, a lot of lighting and an attractive enclosed porch. Our community focuses in making sure that our residents get the quality of life they deserve.

Here at Abbey Manor Assisted Living we believe in fostering our residents' independence, individuality, and dignity is a key focus of our orientation and training programs, which cover such topics as: normal and abnormal physiology of aging, end-of-life care, diabetes, fall prevention, nutrition and hydration, and approaches for managing the symptoms of early dementia.

Our community offers private suites that has its own bathroom with walk in shower, heating, air condition and emergency pull cords to ensure they could get help when they need it. Residents can decorate and personalize their rooms for a home like atmosphere but we also provide furnishing if requested.

We have an atrium style living area where residents gather to laugh, share stories and make new friends. Residents can lounge lazily and read a good book while having a cup of coffee in our enclosed porch.

Available Services

Each residents are provided with a personalized care plan that are based on resident’s needs. We carefully asses each resident prior to admission to the level of care they need. Residents are encourage to be independent but should their needs change our staff are happy to assist you. Our staff are available 24 hours a day and can assist residents with medication management, personal care and mobility.

Our community believes that residents should enjoy and live their life to the fullest. We create activities that has a variety of diversions and designed to entertain, stimulate and keep our residents engage. We served nutritionally balanced meals that would meet the dietary needs our residents to keep them healthy.

Housing: All suites are private with private baths.

Special Comment: We have a full-time Health Services Director; an R.N. with diverse experience in geriatric settings, who oversees the care of our residents. Talk to our family members and you will learn that Abbey Manor's reputation is for consistently excellent care, thanks to the quality of our staff, our small size and our low care ratio (on the first two shifts, 1:8 -- not including management, nursing, kitchen and housekeeping staff; 1:16 on the third).
