The best way to get to know a community is by scheduling a tour. See the facilities, meet the staff and residents, and get a feel first hand what it's like to live at The Waterfalls of Catonsville Assisted Living.
We toured BrightView (gorgeous facility and terrific staff, but much too large and isolating for my MIL\'s end of life needs). Waterfalls is the sort of place you WISH you would find for your senior loved one, and can\'t believe you actually have. Purpose-remodeled by owner Matt Decker, who lives upstairs with his family, this beautiful, sparkling clean Assisted Living and Memory center is set in a grove of lovely trees, with a deck and koi pond in back. The facility has 8 large bedrooms, each with a beautiful view and en-suite or hallway bathroom access, plus a long-time, dedicated, and very caring staff. They plan enrichment activities for the residents (e.g., chair exercise, game show time, small art projects), and cook meals and snacks (like freshly baked cookies) in their lovely kitchen. We could not have been happier with the care my MIL received, and she was appropriately sent to a hospital when the staff noticed that she was eating poorly and began complaining of stomach pain, in what ended up to be her final illness. I hope you are blessed enough to find space at Waterfalls when your loved one needs it.
