Description of The Lafayette
The Lafayette is centrally located in the heart of beautiful Lexington, Kentucky, just minutes from the Gay Brewer, Jr. Golf Course, Saint Joseph Hospital and the University of Kentucky. As a premier independent living retirement community, we offer luxurious accommodations, numerous amenities and first-class service to discerning seniors.
Featured Amenities
Our spacious apartments come in a selection of 16 different styles with a choice of studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts. All apartments feature private bathrooms, full kitchens and an emergency medical response system for added safety and security. All utilities except for cable TV and telephone are included in the monthly rent.
For the enjoyment of our residents, our community is home to a cocktail lounge, full-service hair and nail salon, a well-equipped exercise room, covered patio and beautifully landscaped grounds that feature a scenic walking course. Seniors may also join one of our popular fitness classes or come along on one of our many exciting trips and tours.
Available Services
At The Lafayette, our staff are available on site 24 hours a day to make sure our residents are happy and healthy. Our hospitality staff take care of the housekeeping, linen laundering, grounds maintenance and daily meal service. We also operate a scheduled transportation service to local appointments and errands and even have a limousine service available.
For added comfort and convenience, our staff are also available to provide assistance with personal laundry, clothing selection, daily room checks, mail delivery, grocery shopping, plant and pet care, organizing closets and escorts to doctors' appointments.

I visited this facility
I don't have any criticism of The Lafayette. I thought it was a very fine place. The staff, the dining room, the sales manager, and the location were excellent. It's nearby shopping centers, banks, eating places, and the university. They had a nice scope of daily activities.
