Brookdale Topeka is a homelike environment ideally designed for individuals with memory loss. Special features of our community include large circular paths that lead residents to areas of activity, enclosed, outdoor courtyards, way-finding cues, small spaces decorated like home, and shadow boxes for residents' mementos to identify their personal spaces.

Our comfortable private or companion suites come in a variety of floor plans and include private baths with safety features such as step-in showers, safety bars and non-slip surfaces. We encourage residents to bring a beloved small pet from home. There are many public areas where residents can gather, socialize or enjoy a quiet moment, and for safety, all exterior doors are alarmed.

Available Services

The Clare Bridge Daily Path offers a program of “familiarity through daily living” for those with Alzheimer's and various types and levels of dementia. Residents participate in daily reminiscing, mental discussions, and brain stimulating games. Physical exercise includes walking programs and dancing. Individual or group activities provide a sense of purpose, meaning, and belonging.

Our dementia-friendly menus and dining program are designed to help those residents successfully master and enjoy their dining experiences.
