At our community, our residents can spend rainy afternoons watching movies in the theater, and during the spring, spend time on one of several outdoor patios. There is also a fitness room where we hold daily exercise classes, and in the fireside lounge, they can check the latest email from their family at the computer station.

Our private one-bedroom apartments feature a full kitchen; are wired for telephone, cable and Internet; and have safety features, such as an emergency call system and grab bars in the bathroom. Complimentary laundry rooms are available for residents or, if they prefer, laundry service is available.

Our residents enjoy three delicious meals a day served in the inviting Bistro that features restaurant-style dining. Other household chores our residents don&#39;t have to do include housekeeping and linen services, as we handle those responsibilities. Transportation is also provided when errands need to be run.

Residents needing assisted living services receive an individual care plan that is designed to support their desire for independence yet balance the need for assistance. Through our Specialized Therapeutic and Rehabilitative Services (STARS) program, seniors receive personalized therapy that returns them to their highest functional level. Another portion of our community is specifically designed to care for seniors with Alzheimer&#39;s and dementia. Our Cherished Memories program encourages engagement in all aspects of our residents&#39; lives so they remain active and engaged.

Welcome to Summers Pointe, a retirement community within the quaint town of Winchester, Indiana. Were a well-established senior care provider and are known for our assisted living and temporary care programs throughout Randolph County.

Were committed to making sure residents are comfortable, engaged and cared for. Our assisted living community provides residents with a warm, hometown feel where their care and comfort is our priority.

The Summers Pointe offers all the comforts of home with the added benefit of individualized assistance with day-to-day activities. Specially trained staff deliver scheduled assistance to residents in a supportive atmosphere and are available 24 hours a day. Providing 24/7 licensed nursing care, personalized plans of care, medication administration, consultant pharmacist and dietician, and state regulation oversight by Indiana Department of Health.

All aspects of our assisted living program, such as activities, cultural and educational entertainment, and exercise are designed to help residents maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
