My mother is in Sunrise of Palos Park. The care is excellent. The staff is very kind and very considerate, and they're very cognizant of what's required as far as what laws to follow for maintaining their license as an assisted living facility. Her room was not acceptable, and they completely fixed everything for us, tore carpeting, and put in new tiles. They exercise every morning in the activity room. The activity director is wonderful. They play bingo, do a family night once a month, and go on outings to go grocery shopping, gambling, and movie night. My favorite thing is that they have a dog. It's very expensive. She's being charged to have her medication administered to her, including vitamins and laxatives.

Sunrise was very nice but expensive. The staff showed me different areas and types of rooms, and introduced me to people. The place was very clean and very nicely kept. They had a reading area, memory care, and respite care.

My father-in-law is at Sunrise of Palos Park. It's very nice. It's perfect. His apartment is very nice, roomy, and clean. The food is great. They have activities there but he doesn't partake in anything except meals. The staff is very patient and caring. It's really comfortable, nice, and friendly. They have a nice dog that wanders around. It seems very low key and not uptight at all. It's a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I haven't heard any complaint about the food. They have neverending popcorn. Everybody's always having fun when I go there. It's just so expensive.

Sunrise of Palos Park was beautiful and clean. It was like being in a country club. There were beautiful flowers surrounding the place, and it looked very welcoming. It was in a beautiful location and I cannot say anything bad about it. They have a library and a lovely dining area.

My father-in-law moved into Sunrise of Palos Park on December 1st. It's beautiful. So far, the staff has been very good. The food could be better, though. Because my father-in-law is in the memory ward, they're really careful not to give him anything that they have a hard time eating, so the food is bland. The dining area is gorgeous. They do activities like arts and crafts, exercise, ice cream social, and entertainment. Every day they have something different. They had a Christmas party last week.
