Lincolnwood Place is a very nice place. It has a very different atmosphere. The staff members are very nice people. They're very warm, very outgoing, and easy to talk to. They know every single one of the people who stay there by name. I was impressed with the staff. They had a lot of activities going on, and the people seemed to be enjoying themselves. They are improving the patio area so that it can be much more usable for the people living there. However, the location isn't great. Some of the windows look down on a car dealership area. Only a few look out toward the Chicago skyline; those are very nice.

Local Professional

This facility has a hotel-like feeling to it, but in a good way. Residents can come down for all of their daily meals, and can even enjoy a cocktail with dinner. A fair amount of the seniors here still drive, but for those who don’t—the activities schedule is designed for versatile interests. The facility offers studios apartments, as well as 1 and 2 bedrooms—and even the studios are spacious and well laid out. All units have washers and dryers. While assisted living and rehab are available, the facility caters more toward seniors who are primarily self-sufficient.
