It is one of my top two choices for my sister. It's new, clean, everyone is smiling, and the facilities are very attractive. I met a couple of residents who spoke well of the place, and my first impression of the place was very positive. The staff member who gave me a tour of the place was very pleasant, nice, and well-informed. The dining area looked very nice. I did not eat there, but they're really proud of their food. They have the usual stuff like therapy and arts and crafts. The person who gave me the tour was very nice.

I had some help from Home Instead and they were excellent. They came out for a couple of months to help me twice a week for three hours a day. They got along with my mom fine. She needed memory care and the caregiver read the bible with her. She did a lot of things to keep her occupied and did a few things around the house, but I was more interested in her just keeping my mom company while I ran a few errands. My mom enjoyed her very much, and I did too, and she was a perfect fit, but I can't afford to do that with them because their rate is $24 an hour. They did dusting, and a little vacuuming. She was capable of taking her bath, but she had a bad hip, so she had to be watched. The caregiver was very good, upbeat, and uplifting.
