1. Lights take 45-60 min to answer. If you need immediate help this is unsafe 2. Pct argue with you if they don’t agree with your request for help 3. Some Pct say they don’t know how to do what you ask and they have to get the nurse which they don’t so you wait more 4. Rehab staff superb 5. Had pct bring in kitchen helper into my room to help provide nursing care

My husband went to short-term rehab at Spring Lake for two weeks. The staff was mostly good. They had lots of things to do. They have a large physical, OT, and speech therapy room. The place was very clean and the food was very good. The rooms are clean, good-sized, and private.

It was really nice, looked, clean and didn't have an odor. I didn't find anything wrong about the place. The staff member who gave us the tour was very personable and informative. The dining area was nice. I saw people visiting in the lounges with each other.

It was very nice and the rooms were nice. My friend was looking for a two-bedroom and there was a waiting list for those. The staff was very informative. They have places where they can go and play games, and they have outings.

My friend liked it, but she was also interested in a two-bedroom, and they didn't have that available. They had a lot of nice things in there. The staff was very good and helped us with a lot of our questions. Their dining area looked fine. They had a room for puzzles, and for people sit around and play games.

It is a very nice facility. They seem to be very friendly. The dining facilities are good, and the people seem to be happy with the staff. The grounds are good, and the place is easy to get to. They have plenty of activities.

When I was at Brookdale Winter Haven, the front door was locked, and while I was waiting to have the door unlocked, one can look around and see that that hasn't been touched for months. There are cobwebs, bugs, and dirt. When you get in, it's obvious that it should be vacuumed at least every day, but I don’t think that was happening. The room I saw was clean but small. You don't even have choice of cooking for yourself. It's not what I had in mind at all.
