The apartments at St. Augustine Plantation have all the features of a home without the hassle of maintenance. Kitchenettes, individually controlled heating and air condition and a personal mail box are standard, along with views overlooking the landscaped grounds. For peace of mind, there are emergency pull cords in the room and bathroom.
Along with loving the comfortable living arrangements, our residents also enjoy the amenities that really make our community stand out from others in Tallahassee, Florida. Scenic drives, volunteer opportunities and social hours are just a few of the activities offered throughout the month. And for those times when residents want a quiet moment for themselves, there is a relaxing sun room or aviary.
Available Services
Mealtimes are a favorite time at our community because our residents are treated to home-cooked meals prepared by our talented culinary team. We also serve holiday meals and welcome resident input on incorporating their favorite meals into the menu. The soda fountain room plays host to social hour which is another favorite pastime of everyone.
Our service package includes regular safety checks, scheduled transportation, daily housekeeping and personal laundry service. Each resident receives an individual care plan that outlines the level of support that is needed to maintain independence. Our staff includes specially trained 24-hour staff and a registered on call nurse.

St. Augustine Plantation was very nice and it's certainly a place we would take into consideration. The staff member who showed us around was very helpful and friendly. The dining area looked fine. They have a game and television room, and entertainment for the guests periodically.

I like the attention that the staff of St. Augustine Plantation give to my parents. It feels more like an ocean cruise. They provide three meals a day and transportation. I am overwhelmed by how professional they are and how they almost go above the call of duty. They offer housecleaning, and laundry is being taken care of.

The place that I really like is St. Augustine Plantation. It was wonderful. It's the one I'm trying to get my mom into, and we're still in the process. I like that it was clean, I like the way the rooms were made, I like the care levels, and I like the people. I also like the location. I saw a 1-bedroom. It was spacious, clean, very well set-up, organized, maintained, and accessible.

He had a wonderful room with plenty of space. It was a nice room with a nice bathroom and a little kitchenette area. They had activities on a regular basis. They had a library with a pool table. The staff members were nice to me.

I thought the rooms at St. Augustine Plantation were excellent. The dining area was nice. It was a nice, large facility, but I don’t think you get direct care; I didn’t sense that. I think their activities were organized. The staff was OK, but they didn't seem that compassionate.
