Residents at Watersong enjoy a selection of floor plans and may choose from charming, cottage-style homes as well as deluxe villa apartment suites. All of our residential units feature designer finishes, such as granite countertops and hardwood floors, full kitchens and in-unit washers and dryers.
In addition to our many on-site amenities, including a state-of-the-art Wellness Center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bar, lounge, salon and spa, our residents also enjoy membership at nearby The Duran Golf Club. I visited this facility
I toured The Brennity at Melbourne. It was beautiful and a very large facility. It's a hotel style facility with individual rooms and 2 dining rooms that you could choose from. It had several sitting areas inside where residents could play games and watch TV. It also had outside sitting areas, and a garden. My two choices were between The Brennity and the other community. We chose the other one just cause the way the other community was setup. Their staff was as attentive as the ones from the other community. I tried to get my mom to the side between the two styles of facilities, and she wouldn't make the decision so I made it for her. They looked like they have what the other community has, they have a lot of things for the residents to do.

My mother has been at The Brennity at Melbourne for over a decade. It's very nice looking. She has her own private staff. Because she is 96, she doesn't like to leave her apartment very often, but she's very comfortable. In this facility, you can be in the assisted or independent side. The workers are bilingual and most of them are Spanish speaking. It's quiet, clean, and the upkeep is good. The staff is kind.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
12 directors in 12 years sums it up. Management is unresponsive. Residents have been having buffet dinners for over two weeks and food quality is poor. Physical plant is starting to go downhill. Outside needs to be cleaned and repainted. The only positive is the overworked housekeeping staff who have kept the interiors clean while everything around them falls apart.

Do not recommend. Price is high. Food is at a restaurant level, which is what you are paring for. The management does not respond to problems.

Avoid. It is high cost, low end food, management that does not care about valid concerns like a broken pool heater needed for the ailments of the elderly. It took SIX weeks to fix it. This is a single example of the Brennity.

I Am A Friend Or Relative Of A Current/Past Resident
Avoid the Brennity for mom or dad. In my experience, it is not the best place for a positive life style. The food is not good. The management does not care. Facilities, such as the pool heater, stay broken for a long time. All in all, the price is high and the service is low

I Am/Was A Resident Of This Facility
The money is very high---very expensive. The food is poor. The management does not care. It feels very depressing. I would only put a loved one there if the person was so bad that had no desire for a good life. I am just being honest. It is very hard to move out due to age and ill health, so don't move in so fast, in my experience and opinion.
