Do not allow your loved one to live here!!! My parents lived there until Hurricane Irma hit and they lost their apt. A large portion of the property floods repeatedly during hurricanes, which is a KNOWN issue. The “Christians” who run this organization do not mention this information when they rent to these poor old souls. When Shingle Creek floods, the water treatment facility then floods, and raw sewerage backs up through toilets into residents homes. Next comes the contaminated flood waters. Finally the GSS information line voicemail fills up, Facebook responses contain no information, and residents are left to find shelter while mold grows on their belongings in their flooded homes. Repeated again during Hurricane Ian. AVOID!!!

My mother is in Amber Lake Assisted Living Facility. The lady living in the same room with her is very nice, and they're friends now. I asked them to find somebody that speaks the same language and comes from the same country, and they found a perfect lady for her, so that's working out really good. The food is good. I have some issue sometimes with the room being cleaned, but other than that it's fine. The nurses are good. I had some problems with the medications at the beginning, but they worked it out. The place looks nice and well kept. The daytime staff is nice. Mom's really happy with the food.

Good Samaritan Village at Kissimmee was beautiful and well maintained. Their gym was like a professional gym. They had a heated indoor pool where they had aerobic classes. They also had a pickleball and shuffleboard. They had big huge grounds which was beautiful. They were just wonderful. It was lunch while we were there. The food was wonderful, selection was beautifuls, restaurant-style, which was very good. The lady that took us on tour and talked with us did a wonderful job. The people in the restaurant were very good, helpful and efficient. They had trips, and they had a bus that would take you to the grocery store. They also have assisted care if you want to go into that area.

Im not a senior. I had a stroke two years ago, so Im in an assisted living facility, but Im only 50. Ive been in Green Leaf of Kissimmee for probably a year, and I do not like it here. There are about 65 people here. The building is two stories, and technically Im in a private room, but the bathroom I have is shared. The staff is really nice, but the residents are not very good, and I do not like them. One of the biggest things I hate here is, Im not a smoker, and everywhere is a smoking area, and 90% of the people here smoke. I get three meals a day, but the building is very old. Compared to the other places, its very low.
