Description of Compassionate Care Sanctuary

Foxtail Lodge is located in southern Kissimmee, FL, on a beautiful property with an abundance of wildlife and birds. This peaceful setting provides for a comfortable retirement while still putting seniors in close proximity to nearby shopping malls and medical facilities. The city's many recreational venues, such as the Walt Disney World resort, provide exciting outdoor opportunities for seniors and also make a wonderful place to spend the day with visiting family members.

As an assisted living facility, Foxtail Lodge offers seniors support with daily personal care through a 24-hour awake staff. Housekeeping and personal laundry services help seniors maintain their furnished apartments, and a maintenance crew takes care of issues in the residences and around the community. Companionship and assistance with ambulation are also provided to promote physical and emotional wellness.

The one-level nature of this community ensures seniors don't have to navigate steps, and hydrotherapy classes are available in the on-site pool to nurture coordination. Engaging activities and social events are created daily by staff members, and indoor and outdoor common areas are provided to enhance interaction between residents. Meals are prepared fresh three times a day, and special dietary options and snacks are available.
