My wife moved into Brookdale Avondale about two weeks ago. It's good. Her room is large and clean. From what I have seen, the staff is doing their job. I know they have a bus and do activities, but I don't know if my wife has participated in any.

Brookdale Avondale was a smaller facility and they have assisted living. The 1-bedroom was very small. The staff seemed very attentive and very helpful. The food overall was extraordinary bland and soft, and it was probably due to the clients there. I saw a sitting/TV room with bookshelves. I went with the residents when they were taking them to lunch, and the staff was quite energetic to handle 3 wheelchair patients and the rest in walkers.
