A 104-acre gated campus surrounded by the beauty of nature, The Village of Gainesville is a comprehensive provider of retirement living options. As a provider of independent living, assisted living and memory care, we offer a broad range of accommodations, on-site amenities and premium services. In addition, we are ideally close to area shopping, dining and medical centers. While we offer continuing care senior living experience, we are a rental retirement community with no large entry fee.
The Village of Gainesville is operated by SantaFe Senior Living, which owns a variety of communities located throughout Florida. SantaFe Senior Living offers living options for seniors who are willing to settle for nothing less than the best in retirement living amenities and services.

While residing at our community, seniors choose from a wide selection of accommodation options. Independent living residents select the home of their choice from one of six different locations within our campus. No matter the floor plan you choose, accommodations come well-equipped full kitchens, resident-activated alert systems, individually controlled thermostats and ample closet space. Assisted living residents enjoy equally as inviting apartments with kitchenettes and private baths, while our memory care residents reside within private accommodations in our dedicated memory support building, Azalea Trace.
No matter the lifestyle, The Village of Gainesville has something for everyone. The Tower Club is host to our state-of-the-art fitness center, two different restaurants, a computer center, library and even an auditorium for live events. For a little outdoor recreation, our tennis courts, putting green and walking trails are all excellent options.
Available Services
Activities are in ample supply, and residents can choose to participate in any of the numerous events held each and every day. These events can include educational programs, group exercise classes, resident clubs, movie screenings, art classes and more.
To support the health and well-being of each resident, we offer the services of our Vitality Program. Through this program, residents have access to around-the-clock emergency services, access to a Respite Room when recovering from short-term medical challenges, and access to our on-site nurse for health concerns. Additional home-care services are provided through third-party providers.

I visited this facility
My parents will be moving into The Village at Gainesville. They're going to have their own apartment, and people will be coming in to do cleaning and yard work. The staff member that I met there was very nice. I also met their marketing person, and their nurse, and they were real nice. The marketing person was very patient with my mother and step-father about getting into the place. It's located on a street that runs to the west of Santa Fe Community College and there's a major entrance and exit, so the traffic is horrific in the afternoons. Their apartment is a 2-bedroom and 2-bath that's 1,200 square feet. The pricing is more expensive than other places, and for what you get it's pretty high.
