My mother is in long-term care in Julia Temple Healthcare Center. They've done a really great job. The staff is wonderful, caring, and helpful. She has dementia and she can't communicate very well. They do update as needed, and we have a Zoom call with her case worker every Monday. I've been many times to the front office, and it's good.

Brookdale Meridian Englewood was fine. However, because they do assisted and independent living, it didn't feel as vibrant. The people that I talked to were great. When I finished the tour, they gave me an entire pie, and it was really good. The place was very clean and seemed very well managed. They have a theater and the lobby area was very nice.

My mother is in Caley Ridge Assisted Living. I like the people working there, the people taking care of her, and the people that bring her food and give her showers. I like that it's a smaller community. There are 100 rooms. She seems to like the food a lot. It seems to be real good. She has a choking issue because she has had strokes, but they're working on that with speech therapy and they're also working on her mobility. I like that. They have a physical therapist and a nurse that come every day. There's somebody there every day. The only problem is they lost her sheet and they lost one of her outfits. They're supposed to do the laundry individually room by room. The facility is absolutely clean. They have Bingo, blackjack, balloon volleyball, outdoor walks, and puzzles. They have a lot of things to keep them busy. They have movie nights. They serve three meals a day. It's very easy to communicate with the staff. I just love them. The director, Debbie, is terrific. The staff has all been great. The maintenance man that put up safety bars for my mom is great. They have a wonderful staff, and they offer transportation.

Caley Ridge is very good, and we're very pleased. My mother is there for respite care, and it's all excellent. The location and price are good. She could transition from respite care to assisted living if necessary. They assist her in most ADLs, escort her to meals, and do physical therapy five days a week. She says she likes the food, and they seem to offer a lot of activities.
