I visited this facilityReview of Sunrise at Sterling Canyon

Sunrise at Sterling Canyon was clean and spread out so it's a very nice property. The staff who gave us the tour, Karen, was very knowledgeable. The dining area looked fine, but I'm concerned about the meal hours because it's very strict and not conducive to my dad's lifestyle. If you don't get there during the time frame for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will miss out. The rooms were good. The location and grounds were good.

Sunrise at Sterling Canyon was very nice and we really liked the environment. The rooms were very nice, but not as large. The staff was very nice. The menu was very nice.

She has been at Sunrise at Sterling Canyon. It's very nice, the staff is friendly, and the food is good. They have a lot of social activities. She seems to like it really well and likes the people who are helping her. They have a lot of activities and entertainment that comes in, they have cookies, and they celebrate all of the special events. The price is a little high and expensive.

I was very impressed with Sunrise at Sterling Canyon. It was very attractive. I had been there years ago and used it for my parents when they were elderly. They were very pleased with it at that time and now, it's even nicer. The way the living room area goes out to a big open grassy area is beautiful. It's cut like a big rectangle so it gets a lot of light from outside. The indoors were very clean and neat, and I enjoyed the Alzheimer's area. It was very well planned out and very nice. They had a dog, a nice little living room, and sitting rooms for the people to watch TV and do activities. The staff was very kind and very easy to spend time with. The people eating in the dining room were calm, quiet, and seemed to be enjoying what they were doing. It wasn't the newest place. Some of the bedrooms were painted over and there was some wear and tear.

Our tour of Sunrise at Sterling Canyon went very well and was very informative. Overall, we're happy with the care. They've addressed all the issues we had and everything seems to be working out fine for Mom. They have a wide variety of activities available. It is located in a very nice neighborhood, and the place is kept up nicely with a lot of pleasant areas for people to hang out in.
