Rowntree Gardens was amazing. They're very elegant and very nice. I was particularly impressed with them because they had a huge yard that's like a circle, so the people can come out from their rooms and wander. The rooms are lovely and the food is elegant. They have wonderful performers and we used to perform there too. They always treat us after with cookies and punch, and the activity director is wonderful too. So this community is our favorite. I like their layout better than the other places. Their staff is wonderful and we go there every month. The have a sunny little atrium that's all windows, which was really nice. You can sit there and have a little snack and be kind of outside with the sun coming in. That's pretty special.

My tour at Rowntree Gardens was great and thorough. They covered the entire place and answered all our questions. The nursing is 24 hours. The food was delicious. The nurses were all beautiful. They had games, meetings, and activities where residents get together. They had a gym. I talked to several staff members who were all courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I liked the spacious room, facilities available, and easily accessible areas for non-mobile patients. Everything was very clean. The bathrooms, gym is clean, and demonstration room were clean.

My partner lived for a short time at Rowntree Gardens. She was in a studio apartment. It had no bedroom, just a living room, and the bed was in the same room. There was also a kitchen and a bathroom. She had an outside door to her patio and it had beautiful grounds that were nicely taken care of. It's a beautiful place and it's probably about 50 years old, but it's very light, and airy. It's a lovely place with a lovely kitchen and very good food. They have two dining rooms there and they serve three meals a day. The staff was very nice and very good.
