Our community has such a wide range of amenities and services, we are like a small town and once you visit, you will easily picture yourself settling down here.
Rowntree Gardens is a faith-based, not-for-profit retirement community that is welcoming to all faiths. For more than 50 years, our community has cared for thousands of seniors and their families who become part of our family.
Featured Amenities
The close-knit atmosphere at Rowntree Gardens comes in part from the many convenient amenities we provide on site, including a beauty salon/barber shop, library, Wellness Cen ter and chapel. Our accommodations are available in studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments. Apartment features include cheerful sunrooms, kitchenettes with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.
All meals are chef-prepared and served in the Fireside Dining Room or Patio Dining Room three times a day. There is also a coffee bar and snacks for when you want a refreshment during the day. Fun and engaging activities are regularly scheduled throughout the week and include Monday Movie Fests, chess club, gardening classes and Zumba!
Available Services
When a resident is in need of an extra helping hand, he/she can transition to The Cedars, wh ich offers assisted living and healthcare services in a dignified setting. Assistance with dressing, grooming, medication management and other daily tasks is available. Memory care is also available in our Gardens Memory Care Neighborhood.
All residences at Rowntree Gardens receive weekly housekeeping and linen services which alleviates the hassle of household chores. Also included in the monthly fee are all utilities and on-site maintenance. Other helpful services available include free laundry facilities, check cashing services and notary/copy/fax services.

I visited this facility
Rowntree Gardens was amazing. They're very elegant and very nice. I was particularly impressed with them because they had a huge yard that's like a circle, so the people can come out from their rooms and wander. The rooms are lovely and the food is elegant. They have wonderful performers and we used to perform there too. They always treat us after with cookies and punch, and the activity director is wonderful too. So this community is our favorite. I like their layout better than the other places. Their staff is wonderful and we go there every month. The have a sunny little atrium that's all windows, which was really nice. You can sit there and have a little snack and be kind of outside with the sun coming in. That's pretty special.

I visited this facility
My tour at Rowntree Gardens was great and thorough. They covered the entire place and answered all our questions. The nursing is 24 hours. The food was delicious. The nurses were all beautiful. They had games, meetings, and activities where residents get together. They had a gym. I talked to several staff members who were all courteous, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I liked the spacious room, facilities available, and easily accessible areas for non-mobile patients. Everything was very clean. The bathrooms, gym is clean, and demonstration room were clean.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My partner lived for a short time at Rowntree Gardens. She was in a studio apartment. It had no bedroom, just a living room, and the bed was in the same room. There was also a kitchen and a bathroom. She had an outside door to her patio and it had beautiful grounds that were nicely taken care of. It's a beautiful place and it's probably about 50 years old, but it's very light, and airy. It's a lovely place with a lovely kitchen and very good food. They have two dining rooms there and they serve three meals a day. The staff was very nice and very good.
