Offering a lifestyle of comfort and convenience, Scholl Canyon Estates is a retirement community focusing on independent living. While residents live as freely as they wish, compassionate managers are available around-the-clock to respond to emergency situations or provide assistance when needed. Basic services such as medication reminders can be coordinated through in-home health care providers. A variety of floor plans are available to suit varying style preferences, and all are equipped with emergency pull cords to readily connect to the management team.
At this community, carefree living is promoted through social activities, healthy nutrition options and regular fitness programs. Residents learn new skills, dabble in art projects, join discussion groups and participate in other community organized activities that keep the mind and body active. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Scholl Canyon Estates is wonderful and they give my mom a great amount of care. The community itself is very good and the food is fabulous. My mom absolutely loves it. She was a big cook so food is very important to her. The only thing I dislike about the place is they change managers consistently without giving us any notice. All of a sudden you walk in and people are gone, and there are new people there. It makes it difficult for my mom because she doesn't always keep up with that and realize that there are new people and she's always looking for the old people, so it confuses her a little bit. My mom has a very nice and spacious 1-bedroom with shower facilities, and she feels comfortable there. They have all kinds of activities and she's very happy with it. She has done exercise classes and Bingo, and was quite proud that she won two games. The building is beautiful, and they change and move the flowers around on a constant basis so there's always something bright and new. They decorate for all the holidays so that's fun, and they celebrate all the residents' birthdays, which is good. You also get good value for what you pay for.
