I thought Merrill Gardens at Gilroy was just absolutely fabulous. I had no complaints at all. They have many benefits to offer the residents, although my husband was too sick to enjoy any of them. The community itself looked fine, and we were happy with it based on our visit, that's why we put him there.

Merrill Gardens at Gilroy was an excellent place. We would definitely put our mother in there. The staff was very helpful, very kind, and courteous. We had lunch there, and it was a great experience. The apartments were very well appointed and had everything that I was looking for. They have shopping, Sunday masses, and other communal activities, and she could even get out and walk around the nearby creek. The 1-bedroom had a living area, kitchen, and a bedroom that was off to the side. The food was excellent. It was buffet style plus service so you can order anything. They even had a dessert tray. It was located in the green hillside.
