Designed with independence in mind, The Terraces is a unique retirement community located in beautiful Chico, California. Our 11 acre community is just north of Sacramento, situated in the foothills of the scenic Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our property is home to beautifully matured landscapes and a lake perfect for outdoor activity and exploring. While we strive to give our community a laidback feel, we are located minutes from local activities and nightlife such as farmers markets, theaters, cafés and museums.

The Terraces features numerous amenities that give our seniors the opportunity to socialize, relax and explore new hobbies and interests. Our community is equipped with an outdoor swimming pool, bocce ball court, movie theater, game room and fitness center, all which give our residents numerous options for daily activities.

We have different living options so you can choose what best fits your needs. This ranges from studio apartments to full sized two bedroom flats with a balcony to enjoy our community's beautiful views. Residents can choose from a diverse menu of healthy food that caters to their various dietary needs, and can eat at their leisure throughout
the day, just like in their own home. We are happy to accommodate visiting friends and family with a guest meal.

Available Services

Our community welcomes residents of all needs. We can provide fulltime assisted care or an occasional helping hand. This gives our seniors and their families peace of mind knowing they are well cared for. It takes a special type of person to work in our community and our staff is specially selected and trained to ensure residents are provided with the utmost care and attention. Staff is available 24/7 and our nurse is available to assist with residents' health and medicinal needs. We are happy to provide transportation to and from medical appointments. For certain types of medical care; onsite medical visits can be scheduled.
