Knott Avenue Residential Manor is surrounded by beautiful landscaped grounds, walking paths and gardens. We offer both assisted living and memory care in Buena Park, California. Thanks to our staff’s combined years of experience and dedication to care, we strengthen the wellness of our residents and forge new memories and friendships each day.

Stylish, yet homelike common areas offer plentiful seating. Enjoy an evening with friends in our pub, or have discussions over a game of cards, the choice is yours. Our community offers a variety of comfortable floor plans including private and semi-private apartments with abundant natural lighting, a private bathroom and individual climate control.
Knott Avenue Residential Manor features freshly-prepared nutritious meals every day in our restaurant-style dining room. We also offer numerous social activities, events and outings for residents to partake in should they choose.
Available Services
Regular housekeeping and laundry services means that our residents have more time to focus on what they want to do. At Knott Avenue Residential Manor our individualized evaluation program helps to match each resident with services and activities that fit their personalities and needs. And 24-hours a day, our caring staff are there to help with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing or medication administration.
Our memory care program focuses on individual attention, where we design each aspect of our care and activities to each resident’s need. Each staff member is specially trained to serve and care for residents suffering from memory loss conditions such as those associated with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.

- Special Comment: Harvest Retirement provides home-style living, we are focused on Care. Interior of the community has been renovated. Staff longevity especially in Memory Care, our staff is highly trained and attentive. There are only 26 residents in Memory care. Security cameras and monitors for the safety of our residents. The food is terrific and we have great variety. We have two outstanding activity directors. We have not renovated the exterior of the community so you better come in because our community has personality!

I visited this facility
I met one of the three owners of Harvest Retirement. He was very hospitable and willing to accommodate. They have the ability to provide a single room or a room with a partner. However, they charge an extra $450 to administer the medication. Regardless of that, I did feel like they were making a very strong effort to update the place. The staff seemed like good people, and it seemed like a good place. They have balconies that would give family some privacy; it was well-thought-out. They try to keep the people involved with activities. They also were making an aggressive effort on updating the place. The colors that they chose made you feel warm, and you don't feel like you are walking into an assisted living or a convalescent place. It made you feel comfortable.

I visited this facility
I didn't care for Harvest Retirement at all. It's very hard to enter, it's not very appealing, and it's such an old place. It's very clinical or hospital-like. I found things that were dirty, and I saw traps. In some facilities, you see a lot of the staff, you can talk to them or they talk to you, or they introduce you to them, but they didn't do any of that there. They didn't provide information as far as a pamphlet and descriptions, pricings, or amenities.
