As a resident of Carriage House Estates, you'll select from multiple floor plans and styles of studio, one- and two-bedroom private apartments. In addition to our apartments, Carriage House Estates also offers cottage homes, each equipped with full kitchens, a washer and dryer, and many with private garages.

I visited this facility
Solstice Senior Living at Bakersfield is a beautiful community, and everybody was nice and helpful. It seems like a really wonderful place and their rooms were very nice also. They're a little smaller than what we were looking for, but other than that, it's really clean and well-kept. We were able to look at the menu and the residents were having dinner while we were there, and it looks really nice. The dining area was beautiful and just got redone. It has an open, airy and beautiful setting. They have a lot of stuff on their calendar like bingo.

I visited this facility
We visited Solstice Senior Living at Bakersfield. The apartments were nice and the size was doable. They have activities like Bingo, card games, entertainment, and things like that. Some of the amenities they have include a salon, a gym to work out in, and laundry facilities. They also have transportation and take the residents to and from places. The staff members were all nice and helpful. I also saw the organized and nice dining area. The food was really good.

I visited this facility
Solstice Senior Living at Bakersfield looked very nice. It had balconies and lots of windows. The staff member who accommodated me during the tour was fine and friendly. The dining area looked very nice and the food was good. The apartment that I saw looked OK. I saw a list of activities that they have, like card games and bingo. My first impression of the place is that it looks very nice. I only tried one meal there during the visit. From what I can remember, the layout of the place was nice also.

I visited this facility
I toured Solstice Senior Living at Bakersfield. Everything was good and nice, and people were friendly. I was shown the community, where they ate, and a couple of apartments, and they were nice. They take a bus and go shopping, play games, and had a little library and a sitting room where you could go. It was a big community, the people are friendly even though they were a little bit older than I am. The staff who accommodated me was nice. The place itself looked OK, as far as I can tell there weren't any cobwebs hanging from the ceiling or anything like that.

I visited this facility
We visited Solstice at Bakersfield. We had lunch there and checked out everything. It was a very good place. The staff members we talked to were very sweet and generally knowledgeable. The dining area was beautiful, and the food was good. The reason we didnt go there is because my wife has Parkinson's and she falls down, and they don't help pick her up, but it goes the same for their assisted living (at least that's how I understand it). The facilities I saw looked fine to me.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Solstice Senior Living at Bakersfield is a nice place. The staff members are all real nice and they helped us out a lot and guided us with next steps. The dining area is nicer than some of the other ones we looked at. I ate there a few times and the food was good. My mother-in-law likes the music and the people that come in and play. They play Bingo and they do all kinds of activities, but she really just likes the music.
