I'm in Columbus Estates, and so far, so good. The staff is very nice. My apartment was clean when we moved in, but not anymore. The size and the layout are perfect. They're providing meals, and the food is good. They like to bake carrots, but I don't like carrots.

I love Columbus Estates and my dad also loves it. The place is very caring and has an outstanding atmosphere for seniors. The staff is very caring, they make sure everybody is happy, and they get to know each other. The food is outstanding compared to other places we've seen and checked. The apartment itself was very comfortable, it was a really good deal. They have things for the residents all day, transportation to different venues, they just do a great job. The people that work there care for the people who live there, and it's not just a job. It's a very good and comfortable place, a lot better than we anticipated. Based on the value and the experience, it's all very good.

My mother-in-law has been in Columbus Estates for five years now. We decided to keep her there because it is less expensive than other places. She gets good care there, and we also have a nurse going in and helping her there. They have a library and a dining hall. They serve them snacks, they take good care of them, and they clean their apartments once a week. When we enter the place, they're very courteous, and the lady who runs the place is very courteous, too. They have a one-bedroom, and my mother-in-law has a studio. They have a beauty salon and a courtyard. They are doing some activities. They still are having church and whatnot, and they have really good food, too.

I visited Columbus Estates two months ago; it was a good visit. The property was clean, the yards were well manicured, and the people at the facility were very friendly and very informative. The apartments were a little small, but they were nice. We actually stayed for lunch, and their meals were good. They only have a small two-bedroom, they normally have larger ones, and little cottages, but they were all full at that time and we didn't get to look at one. They have a library, a courtyard, and a recreation room. They do movies and they keep everybody busy, so there are activities, but they're very limited. They used to have a bar where they had coffee, but they stopped that because of COVID, but they try to still do activities. It was a nice place.

My mother has been in Columbus Estates for almost two months now. She has a two-bedroom, two-bathroom with full kitchen unit. She is provided three meals a day. There are no utilities except her landline phone and any extra cable features she wants, like internet. The people are very nice. They're great. They're very patient and very attentive with the old people, and they are really good with them. The food is not that great, but it is certainly edible, very clean, and smells good. They always have coffee and cookies on every floor, which is nice. They have a lot of entertainment every night, show a movie or have a local singer come in, and every Friday they have an outing where they have a van that takes them everywhere they want. They're really good. All of her doctors like the residents too, which is a big deal. It is an old place and it needs some work, but their handyman is always there. The value for money is very good.

Columbus Estates is absolutely wonderful. I would do it in a heartbeat, but its too expensive for my mother right now. It feels very comfortable there, the people are friendly, and its very close to my home. She loves the events and would love to be a part of the events that go on there. They have dancing, bingo, tours, dinners, and lunches, and she loves the food there. However, the facility could use a little updating.

I only have good things to say about Columbus Estates (except for the parking). The apartments were beautiful. They were wonderful. They have bingo and dances, and they have a library. They have a lot of things there, but the food was not so good. They have little kitchenettes inside the apartment. They don't have ovens, so you'd have to get a little microwave or a toaster oven. The apartments were clean. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Everything was wonderful about it except for the food and the parking. You have to park down a hill and then crawl up. They planned that poorly. For an elderly person to climb up that hill it's not really practical.

I liked Columbus Estates. The people seemed very caring, involved, and there were a lot of activities for seniors. The food looked good. Overall, it was a quality establishment. The rooms were small and a little bit dated, but sufficient. The grounds were well-maintained. It's in an older, not top of the line area of town, but it's not bad. The pricing was fair. I would recommend them.

Columbus Estates was fine. The layout was OK, and it was about four levels. I would recommend it if they have the money for it. The staff was good.
