Garnsey Garden is a private residential care facility for the Elderly licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services. We are a caring team and dedicated to providing a warm and kind environment for families and their loved ones needing supervision and guidance in everyday living. Serving residents 60 years and above. We are dedicated to quality care of residents, serving with dignity, respect, and compassion. We provide updated training to our staff to provide the best caregivers for your loved ones.

PHYSICAL ACCOMMODATION:

• Licensed for non-ambulatory and bedridden. Wheelchair, and walker-friendly.
• Spacious fully- furnished, single or double occupancy bedrooms. Single private room provided for special rate and request.
• Elegant home with spacious landscaped backyard and front garden.

SAFETY FEATURES:

• Security gates and monitored alarm system.
• Locked perimeters.

NUTRITION SERVICES:

• Nutritious, delightful meals served three times a day.
• Healthy snacks provided in between meals.
• Modified diets available.

PERSONAL CARE:

• Assistance with personal activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, meals, and mobility tasks.
• Medication assistance monitored by licensed nurse. All medications are centrally stored and taken by residents according to physician`s orders.
• Bedside care and tray services for minor temporary illness or recovery from surgery.
• Transportation assistance in meeting necessary medical and dental needs.
• Alzheimer`s/Dementia care.
• Hospice care.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES:

• Daily activities are planned to include themes centered around the seasons, holidays, etc.
• Visits from family members and friends are welcome and encouraged.
• In-home activities: Music, exercise. Dancing, reading, and crafts.
• Special in-home hair and nail service upon request
