Eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis by an Area Agency on Aging caseworker. Elderlife Bridge Loan

When seniors are ineligible for Medicaid assistance yet unable to pay for the cost of assisted living without financial help, elder bridge loans from companies such as&nbsp;<a href="https://elderlifefinancial.com/loc/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Elderlife Financial Services</a>&nbsp;may be an option. Bridge loans go directly to the assisted living or other long-term care facility where the senior resides and are paid back in installments. The ALTCS provides access to care for low-income seniors and covers or drastically reduces the cost of assisted living and other senior care options in Phoenix and throughout Arizona. Coverage includes services such as dental care (up to $1,000 annually), medical care, prescription medication, support services and case management services.

Our facility includes all the required safety features as outlined by the Arizona regulations governing assisted living homes.  This includes ceiling fire extinguishers, safety bars, alarm systems, secured front and back yards, gated entrances and security cameras.  Please note that our industry is very regulated to ensure the safety and well being of residents care.  We strive to maintain the safety of our residents and it is nearly impossible for them too "wander" outside the secure areas of our facility and exterior premises.  Every year, we must pass an Arizona state inspection that takes place on the premises.

Our meals are prepared at home, typically from scratch by a Romanian lady that is an awesome cook.

Our facility and premises are located within a secure fenced perimeter that includes walls, secure gates, doors and cameras to monitor the interior and exterior premises.  Please note that we only monitor certain areas to ensure the care and safety of our residents.  There are no cameras in their rooms or bathrooms for we strive to provide them privacy as well.

Our staff has been trained to inform the resident's family or P.O.A., regarding any issues, concerns, changes in behavior or health.  We also try and communicate the resident's wishes, etc., and assist in making phone calls for them.

As an assisted living home we have to abide by Arizona state regulations and laws that are directed specifically to assisted living facilities.  This includes ensuring safety and responsibility for our residents.  We do not restrict their outside excursions, however, we insist on a responsible person or family member to accommodate them and that also depends on their level of care.
