At Glencroft Center for Modern Aging, we feel “Successful Aging†can be summed up simply by making sure someone, no matter what their age, has a sense of purpose and direction. If we can provide our seniors with purpose, passion and meaning in their lives then we will put them in the best possible scenario of aging successfully. As an organization we maintain focus on helping our residents achieve a sense of fulfillment in many key areas of their lives: physically, mentally, socially, spiritually and emotionally.
At the core of us, humans are social creatures. Even when older, there is a need for a community where every individual feels like a part of something bigger than them, like they matter. There is a feeling of being safe and lightness of being that can come from that arrangement that is invaluable. Research shows that of the top factors that improve quality of life, our daily social interactions with other people top the chart. While you are out and about in your community doing what you love, you'll come across other seniors of your age who enjoy the same things. If you find your social circle has gotten smaller, consider taking an on-site class to meet interesting people with similar interests.
As you factor in the cost savings of having so many things you love to do so close to your home, you'll also want to consider the convenience. Yoga or fitness classes, indoor pool, some special events, various type of adult education, and entertainment are all located onsite, along with gourmet dining options staffed by professional chefs. Regularly scheduled worship services and other special services such as bible study, home and hospital visits, as well as grief counseling services are available at Glencroft. We have our own separate barber shop and beauty shop easily accessible on campus. Free weekly trips are made to several nearby grocery stores and shopping centers.
One of the key advantages of a senior housing, Arizona community is saying good bye to yard work, home maintenance. There are a lot of pieces that have to fit into the puzzles of making a place a home. There is the cleaning that has to be done, ensuring the front lawn is kept well respectable. Does it look like there might be a storm? So, the roof has to be checked too. Winter is here; are the heaters working properly? Who will clear the driveway? There are dishes to be washed after meal time and laundry to be done periodically. It's a lot of work, and it is work that is easier to do when you're younger and your body does not begrudge you those strained muscles. Being in a continuum care community affords the benefits of maintenance without the input of your time and energy that goes into it. These things are included in your monthly senior living fees packages. You may even have the option to add extra housekeeping services too.
We offer an incredible variety of engaging activities for any senior who is experiencing changes in their physical and mental health. The social element here can provide great motivation and stimulation.
The vision of Glencroft is to create an environment that inspires seniors to experience enriched and fulfilling lives. Glencroft is the largest Senior Living Community in Arizona and the 4th largest in the nation. The community sits on 40 lush acres of citrus trees and grass. We offer all-inclusive services to our residents which consists of housekeeping, security, meals, transportation and activities. If your loved one needs additional attention we offer ‘Glencroft at Home' services to help with activities of daily living to assist residents. This allows our residents to remain independent for the longest amount of time.
The best way to get to know a community is by scheduling a tour. See the facilities, meet the staff and residents, and get a feel firsthand what it's like to live at Glencroft Center for Modern Aging.

We have been in Glencroft for a while now. We're really happy, and among the places we've looked at, we like this one. We like the Christian atmosphere, it's perfect for us, and together with all the Catholics, we pray the rosary and we have mass. We also enjoy the work and volunteering. The staff is excellent, really very good, and courteous. Whenever we need something, like if something goes wrong, we just call and in like ten minutes they get here. I would recommend it to anybody. They have a lot of things for the residents, like every two weeks they have a bulletin with things going on like music and entertainment, games, and so on. So if you want to do something, there's plenty to do. We're not on any meal plan. We cook our own meals, but I heard from other residents that the food is good. The value is very good.

We have chosen Glencroft Senior Living for my mother. We are thrilled with it. My mother really likes it. There are lots of phenomenal activities. The food is fantastic. We have seen their small store, post office, and beauty shop. She had her hair cut there already and she's gotten a pedicure done. They have two full restaurants and a bistro. They also have a swimming pool, indoor pool, and auditorium. They have amazing amenities.

Glencroft Senior Living looks very good. It has been a great place for my mom. The staff, facilities, and the dining area are very good. My mom likes the food, which is rare because she didn't like the food at other places. Her room has a living area, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a bedroom, and they keep it maintained very well.

Glencroft is a very nice place, and we had no problems with it. We like what they offer, and it seems to be the best you can get around here. The staff is excellent and wonderful. They offer quite a bit of activities, like swimming and cards, and the normal routine games for old folks. The food is tolerable. There are good days and bad days.

My mom is at Glencroft. It has been good so far. It is a senior living and yet they have a section that if you need more help, they can get it for you. The location is ideal, too. It is right nearby. It has very nice and very well kept grounds. The people are very nice. It is a Christian place and very peaceful. Glencroft is one of the least expensive ones, so I'm sure you'll get a very good deal on it. My mom is in the dementia unit. It is a self-contained facility with its own dining area. My mom's room is nice. They have different levels of dementia care so if they get worse, they can move them. They don't have to go to a different place, which is good. They also have classes for families to help them with dementia care.

My mother was in Glencroft independent before she took a fall, and then she was transferred to the memory care, and mixed with the memory care patients. They were good to her until they transferred her, then they ignored her. I will never put a fit member of my family in a place like that. They have jigsaw puzzles and cards, but mother did not participate, and they have a swimming pool.

At Glencroft Senior Living, you couldn't go from one point to another point without going outside and all your rooms exited to the outside like a motel. Plus the place was really old and not as well maintained as it could have been. The staff who gave me the tour was fine. We couldn't deal with the room where she has to walk outside, it wasn't good for an 80-year old woman. We had a salesperson walk us around who was very nice.
