What separates Shoals (formerly Wellington Place of the Shoals) from other assisted living communities is the personalized care we offer to every single one of our seniors. Our community is designed to allow for easy mobility for all of our residents, even those living with a physical handicap. To ensure that everyone feels safe, we have installed an emergency response and fire system that is monitored by our staff 24 hours a day.

Our residents can enjoy plenty of fresh air and exercise in our outdoor courtyard and along our walking paths. When the weather isn't cooperating, residents can retire to our library to choose a book from our large collection or spend time in our recreation, activity and family rooms to socialize and play games.

Available Services

At Shoals, we understand that many of our residents require special assistance, which is why our professional staff are always on hand to assist with things like grooming, dressing, eating, laundry, housekeeping, medication and incontinence. Our staff are also specially trained to care for residents with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

We also understand that a healthy diet is a key part of living well, which is why we offer our residents three nutritious meals a day as well as healthy snacks. Mental well-being is also something we strongly believe in, so we offer a full schedule of life enrichment programming to keep our residents active and engaged.

Though there are many assisted living and memory care communities to choose from, you will not find one that provides better care, amenities and service to its residents than Shoals.
