My sister is now a resident at The Oaks on Parkwood. It is lovely and it is very nice. My sister has an apartment-type area. It has a living room, a small eating area, a full bath, and a bedroom. The staff members are very helpful. My sister will get better as she progresses in her therapy, which she still receives. As she gets stronger and better, they will stop doing some of her personal things for her. Right now, they do her laundry, and they do her meals. They do everything for her at this point. They have a swimming pool. They also have an occupational therapist, who does different things with them. The food is very good too. My sister is very particular about what she eats, but she has said to me more than once that she enjoys the meals. They go all into one dining room to eat together, so she has personal contact with people, which is good.
