We encourage our residents to be active during their stay with us and there are a number of engaging programs for their benefit and enjoyment. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
My mother-in-law moved into a 2-bedroom apartment at Verena at the Glen. It's completely independent living, but you can get nursing assistance. The cost of a unit includes breakfast and lunch, and on Sunday they have a big brunch. The apartments are very nice, updated, with granite countertops, and half-kitchens. The staff is wonderful, and the front desk staff is so attentive to the residents that you feel you hired an aide to come and check on your parents. They're so good at handling personalities, and the transition times of the elderly. Sometimes my mother-in-law would say the food is salty, but for me, the food has been outstanding. They also offer transportation to appointment or stores within 15 minutes of the apartments. A lady cleans the apartment once a week, and Wi-Fi and basic TV services are included in the unit price. I think it's a welcoming place.
