At Brookdale Cleveland (formerly Wellington Place of Cleveland), we strive to make our community feel like a second home to our residents. Our staff take the time to learn our residents' personal stories, meet their families and provide expert help and personalized care. Each resident receives an individually-tailored service plan so that we can fully meet their unique needs and wants.

Featured Amenities
To make sure that our residents get plenty of fresh air and exercise, we offer both an outdoor courtyard and gardening area. Indoors, we have family, recreation and activity rooms where residents can visit with friends and family. We even have an ice cream parlor, library, beauty salon and barber shop.
Our deluxe accommodations come in a choice of private or companion suites and all apartments are furnished with carpeting, in-suite climate controls and private baths with easy-access showers and safety features. Hook-ups for cable and telephone are also included.
Available Services
Our professional staff are on-site, 24 hours a day to assist with our residents' every need. Help is available for personal activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility and dining. We also offer continence management programs and medication support. In addition, a nurse is on call 24 hours a day should an emergency arise.
To keep our residents physically and mentally fit, Brookdale Cleveland offers both a complete dining program and life enrichment program. Our dining program serves three nutritious meals a day, while our life enrichment program offers fitness, cultural and educational outings to keep our residents fulfilled and engaged.

I visited this facility
The staff at Brookdale Cleveland was very helpful. The rooms were all very clean, neat, and orderly. The place smelled and looked good, and the residents were all very friendly.

I visited this facility
Brookdale Cleveland was very friendly and very kind. The people were warm; however, the place was dated, and there were limited amenities. I think the place could use some updating. The rooms were small and they had no kitchenette, not even a countertop for a microwave, so that seemed limited. You don't have as much independent living ability there. For activities they have outings and exercise times. They have a garden area out in the back. They have meetings and church services, which impressed me. They offer other amenities and services. They serve three meals a day. They also have transportation and a driver available that takes people on scheduled appointments. The staff members were very warm, very kind, and willing to answer any of our questions. They have called me since my visit to see how I'm doing and if I would be willing to come back.

I Visited This Facility
The place is a bit outdated and the rooms are small (the prices are not small). The staff is over burden and too much turn over. The food is excellent and the place well maintained. But the people living here are not looked after at times. I have been told certain staff members do as little as possible to help the people and let many of them take care of themselves. The bus only runs 2 days a week for doctor visits and the trips they take the residents on are short and too few get to go. The security is not very good here and they let just about anyone come in especially evenings and weekends. I would not let any of my family stay here.
