The interior of Paradise Springs was beautiful, looked like it was well-kept, and was very neat and clean. Everyone there was extremely nice and the food was fine. When I was there they had a guest artist who was singing for them. I think she was a country singer. I also saw some people playing cards. I saw several apartments and they were all very clean. One was empty and they were in the process of cleaning it because the tenant had just left.
Paradise Springs has a very pleasant environment and the people seemed to be very happy there. I liked the friendliness of the director and the staff members that I met there. The meal I had was quite good. They have Bingo, games and general interest topics lead by speakers that are geared toward senior adults. It has a very friendly atmosphere, it's modern, clean, and very accessible. The place is quite new and the decorations and everything are very attractive.
Dad loves Paradise Springs and everybody there including the staff. He loves that it looks like he's in a restaurant or a hotel. His apartment is larger than a dorm room. They do trips and take them to doctors' appointments, sightseeing trips, in-house activities every day, and have a hairdresser on site.
Paradise Springs is clean and well-lit. The grounds are in great shape and location is pretty good. The apartments are well-lit, well-designed, and well-maintained. The pricing is equivalent to other similar communities in the same area. The people are friendly. We like Paradise Springs, but we are not prepared to move into a community like that; we were merely exploring. However, for anyone looking for an apartment community, it is good.
Paradise Springs was very inviting. I was impressed with the eating areas and the lobby. In the front was formal dining with linen, and further back, it looked like a cafeteria for lunch. The staff was very cordial and accommodating. It was very clean, and the grounds were immaculate. Everything looked pristine.
Paradise Springs, the name says it all! This facility has everything to keep residents feeling connected and living a fulfilled life. Upon entering the facility, the staff greeted me, and there were a few residents siting in the waiting area who greeted me as well. Everyone was friendly, and I saw first- hand how involved and happy the residents were. This facility is clean throughout, has amenities on hand, and has everything needed for a complete living experience. There are volunteer opportunities, activities on and off site, social gatherings, and much more. The management here has put together a plan to insure all needs: physical, social, and psycho-social are meant. If your loved one is looking for a senior living community where they can receive all of the comforts of home, while receiving outstanding care, this is the place. The facility fits best with a senior who is active, or a senior who needs to be more active. The residents here motivate one another to participate. There is teamwork and friendship building here within the community. The location is within proximity of restaurants, banks, and shops: However, not everything is in walking distance. Transportation options are available at an additional cost to the resident. There are many amenities at this community, and most are inclusive in the price. The meals are prepared and served hot. I especially liked the baked chicken. These are chef prepared dishes served tableside. Residents are allowed to modify the menu when necessary. Paradise Springs is a nice, comfortable, clean, and well managed facility that is moderately priced. The facility has an upscale feel, with all of the comforts of home. Someone is available to assist the residents 24 hours a day, and residents needing help are placed on a care plan during registration so that those needs can be met. This facility truly feels like an environment where a person can live, be occupied if desired, and rest when desired. There are lots of activities to participate in if the resident chooses to. Also, the residents here encourage one another to be active. The social environment is strong here. This may not be the facility for someone who wants to sit and be idle. Furthermore, there are a variety of activities to meet a variety of needs for residents.
Paradise Springs has undergone management changes so the level of quality and care is not as evident as once before. Some of the staff seemed disengaged and not really connected with the residents. While visiting I really couldn't see any direct leadership, it was like everyone was just managing themselves. Overall the facility is not updated, the food is moderate, the living space is adequate, and the staff seems preoccupied with their personal tasks instead of their professional ones.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. Please don't be fooled by a beautiful lawn or pot of flowers, they consistently are moving managers in and out of this place. the activities , if there are any are a best POOR!!. The food is typical, Sysco brand out of a bag and usually they run out of what is the main course. resident come out for meals and retreat back to their apts once done. The LACK of social activities for seniors is outlandish and the prices they charge and the way they conduct business should land these guys in the BBB alert status. DON'T DON'T DON'T BOTHER, POOR POOR POOR IF POSSIBLE I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE, STAFF AND "AMENITIES" NEGATIVE STARS.
I toured this retirement community as a possible place to move once I sell my home. Overall, it is a very nice facility. It is located in a very nice and quiet area and is beautifully decorated inside. My daughter and I had lunch there as part of the tour. The food was good but not great. I didn't like that the apartments don't have a stove or oven. Since 3 meals a day are provided, there's no need for one, but I know there would be times when I'd like to prepare my own meal. Also, I didn't like that there wasn't any private shaded outdoor space to just sit and enjoy being outside when the weather is nice. Those are my only two complaints about the facility. Overall, it would be a great place to live. I ended up choosing another retirement community because it has beautiful courtyards and full kitchens in the apartments.
This is an extremely nice facility for independent seniors. The top notch management lives on site. The food is very good and well prepared. The facility is beautifully appointed and the entire setting is cheerful. The staff makes sure the residents stay busy with fun activities. A wonderful place to live.
